A harvest moon is rising—it‘s time for a nighttime picnic！
With lanterns glowing all around， we eat soft， sweet mooncakes and drink warm cups of tea。
We thank the moon for bringing us together this night of the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival。
And we each send up a secret wish for the year to come。
What will you wish for？
豐收之月緩緩升起——該吃團圓飯了！
處處掛滿燈籠，我們邊吃月餅邊喝茶，月餅鬆軟香甜，茶香沁人心脾。
我們感恩月亮，是她將我們聚在一起，共同慶祝這個團圓日。
我們每個人都許了一個願望，希望接下來的日子順順利利。
你會許什麼願望呢？
The mid-autumn moon glows in the sky。
We go into the night to admire it。
中秋之月熠熠掛在空中，
我們走進夜色中，準備一起賞月。
Ma-Ma prepares the nighttime picnic。
媽媽在月下準備著吃食。
Ba-Ba arranges the moon-honoring table。
爸爸擺好了祭拜月亮的桌子。
Mei-Mei plays with the pale green pomelo peel。
妹妹在一邊玩著柚子皮。
Jie-Jie brings out the glowing lanterns。
姐姐拿出了幾個明亮的燈籠。
And I pour the round cups of tea。
我為大家倒好了香茶，
We all eat soft，sweet mooncakes。
我們一起吃著香甜柔軟的月餅。
Then we thank the moon for bringing us together and send it our secret wishes。
然後，我們感恩月亮讓我們在此刻團聚，祈求它能實現每個人的願望。
It peacefully watches over all of us。。。

作者介紹
Grace Lin，中文林珮思，著名華裔作家、繪本創作者，紐約時報暢銷書作家，父母都是臺灣人。她的繪本充滿了濃濃的東方味。跨文化題材和極具特色的插畫，讓她大受歡迎。
